Sonic fighting the Daleks from Doctor Who! In the Metropolis Zone from Sonic 2. Um, yeah. What the hell??

There are many things I need to say about this picture. First, I've been wanting to draw it for months. It is a plausible crossover since Sonic normally fights robots anyway. Second, I feel that the green is too overpowering. I meant to go over it again with a darker colour to tone it down. But I was, understandably, tired of working on it. @_@

Third, when I started this picture I kept thinking "This is SO cool!!" Towards the end I actually realised "This is SO stupid!!" (I only wanted to draw Daleks because I find them adorable. Even though they're EVIL KILLER ROBOTS!!!) Which, in turn, reminded me of the Calvin & Hobbes cartoon where they're pretending to have Tyrannosaurs fly F-14s.... :XD:

Fourth, for the most part I really loathe what Sonic has become, but I owe a huge debt to the series (in whatever incarnation) because it was what started me drawing cartoons in the first place.

And there you have it... :P The usual - Staedtler pens and Laurentien pencil crayons were used in the making of this picture.

Nice angle and perspective. You've done a great job of illustrating Sonic's speed.

feck haven't seen you draw this stuff in ages (sonic fan art i mean) and your pencil work has always been awesome.

Oh dear god I envy you and your ability to draw great prespective.XD I find it so hard to do. It's a great picture though, nice colouring and shading. Keep up the fantastic work!:D

Oh, wooow!!! Sonic 2! ^_____^ I adore fanart of oldest Sonic games...This picture so detailed, so beautiful and interesting! If only in our times we could have more such pictures...
